Facts you should know about Ribbon Printer Cartridges. 

  • The paper determines printhead life, as well as the printer ribbon nylon and inks used. At C.I.S. we use O.E.M. quality nylon and specially lubricated inks for extended life.

  • The true cost of a printer ribbon is the number of characters printed. Test results show that C.I.S. meets or exceeds the industry standard. You save on printing costs!

  • New nylon, sonic welded loops, carried out at the factory where the new ribbons are manufactured.

The Cassette 
The printing speeds of printers require a mechanism displaying high reliability. Each part is carefully inspected before assembly. Thus, drive wheels, pressure spring, tension spring ensure a flawless running of the ribbon, a drive torque compatible with the motor of the printer and a satisfactory ribbon output tension.

The Ink
Top quality enhanced inks, with 3 microns or less particle size (industry standards can be as high a 7 microns) ensures less wear on needles with special lubricating oil additives (Mobil DTE 797) enhances printhead life. Save on expensive print heads!

The Nylon
Polymide 6.6, in 4 mil, 5 mil or High Density ensure reliable printing and high yield character/page count for cost performance printing.

What if my CIS printer ribbon doesn't work? 
Hopefully you will never have a problem, but in the unlikely event that you have a problem with your CIS printer ribbon then we will be there for you. Return the cartridge to us for checking and or a refund.
